I came across Dr Karmen’s massage place by chance and am so glad I did. I felt welcomed, calm and peaceful in her beautiful massage studio. Dr Karmen was able to point out areas of pain without me even telling her-like magic! I left feeling in less pain, energised and refreshed. Thoroughly worth visiting and I hope to be back one day. Thank you Dr Karmen.

Dr. Karmen was pleasant and welcoming when we arrived to her charming massage studio. She asked us what sort of pain we were experiencing and customized her approach accordingly. I’m convinced Dr. Karmen has magical hands, after a week of hard hikes and a tumble off a horse she was able to bring some peace and comfort before traveling back state side. Highly recommend her services.

Carmen is a very skilled and experienced therapist who I immediately felt very comfortable with. She listened to what I needed and kept checking in, making sure to fulfil what I’d come for! I arrived at Carmen’s with a lot of tension, aching muscles, a sore neck and feeling like I was all out of alignment. I left feeling soooo much lighter, my body aligned and neck moving much more freely. Carmen is warm, genuinely kind, and excellent at what she does. Thank you so much Carmen!

Came here after 2 weeks of hiking and surfing needing a good massage. This was the worst massage I’ve ever had. She practically rubbed oil on me for 60 minutes. Only leaving in worse condition for knowing I paid $60

Very knowledgeable, devoted and helpful therapist
It was such a pleasure meeting and talking to Carmen. She is very knowledgeable and kind. My husband and I each had a wonderful massage, the hot stones felt so nice and soothing. Carmen was very attentive and devoted to helping my husband find relief from pain he’s had for a while. She really went out of her way to show him various exercises and stretches he can do at home to continue improving his issues. Thank you Carmen!!!

Magical Hands!
Massage with Carmen was wonderful! She welcomed me into her clinic and gave me a 2-hour therapeutic massage including hot stones. Carmen is very well trained, compassionate, and has a lovely touch. Although Carmen spoke very little English, and I spoke some Spanish, we manged to connect quite well. I would highly recommend making an appointment and relaxing deeply on her table. Awesome
Juste wonderfull. Many options from relaxing massages to therapetiques ones. And Karen is very nice and attentive to your needs. Amazing if your sore from Travel or your daily live. She even gane me few moves to do every days to ease m'y neck and shoulders tensions.

Much more than a massage. Helped me a lot.
I have difficulty with my lower back. During our holiday it got quite bad. Carmen did a lot of manipulation which helped my freedom of movement a lot. Very pleased.

Wonderful

Very friendly and comfortable
Carmen was so sweet and very informative. She taught me a lot about my muscles and my body and made me feel very comfortable for my first massage. She even did some extra services because she noticed tension in myself and my partners necks. All in all great experience!

Great last-minute massage with hot stones!
They were willing to make a last-minute booking for my appointment. Marta was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The hot stones were a great addition!

Wonderful experience
I recommend Dr. Karmen’s massage after a day of adventure. She is very professional and very kind. I had an amazing therapeutic massage with hot stones. I will definitely go back to Dr. Karmen’s massage next time I visit Monteverde!
